{ ♚ }; “Taking pity on the poor traveler?” He was already inching closer to her, leading Sitron with him. “You don’t have to worry, I will think of something— of course, I have to stay out of the city because of the guards, but maybe I will find something in the woods… Assuming the wolves won’t eat me alive…” He sighed dramatically. “Or you can just invite me to the palace.”
“Psh– in your dreams. Like I’d ever let you stay at the castle…”
Anna stood her ground as he neared, eyes following him as he did. Normally, she’d probably find the kindness in her heart to help a person find a place to stay if they asked kindly enough of her, but this wasn’t a person– this was Hans. But surely he was exaggerating about finding a place in the woods, right? The woods were dangerous, and she witnessed that first-hand. Anna furrowed her brows.
{ ♚ }; “Ah, you know, I don’t exactly go around and swing my sword left and right. That’s rather… stupid, don’t you think?” He shook his head. Poor Anna. Looks like nothing changed since Prince’s last visit. “No, I’m simply waiting for my ship in this fine Kingdom of yours. Looks like our meeting is doomed to be short, which is downright tragic if you ask me.”
“Well, should’ve thought it was stupid before then, huh?”
At the fact that he would leaving soon, the corners of Anna’s mouth turned up ever so slightly. “Huh…looks like it is, isn’t it? As tragic as you say it is, Hans, I couldn’t be happier. So– were will you be staying until it does get here then, hm? A ratty old inn? One of the stables?” She rose her eyebrows and folded her arms across her chest.
